Resurrection.

Okay. We're bringing this blog back to life.

If you say so.

Cue the medical drama...

You already did that with your other blog.

Right. Frankenstein parody?

Did that too.

Damn. I suppose we could do a Doctor Who type thing? You know, regeneration and stuff?

Or you could just forget about a gimmick and get straight to the chase.
DAMMIT, I MUST HAVE  A GIMMICK TO SHOW THAT I AM BRINGING THIS BLOG BACK. DON'T YOU KNOW ME AT ALL?

Of course I know you. I live in your head don't I?

Then you know what must be done.

Oh good grief...

"Finally, we have discovered the long lost tomb of the great Pharoh Khaykantifertu..."

Seriously?
Oi!

I mean "Yes, professor."

"Behold, the ancient and glorious Sceptre of Meihatztubygg, the mystical artifact which is said to be able to rejuvenate the matter of the deceased..."

It says 'Made in China.'

"SILENCE! Now, place the Drake Mandible Blog on the pedestal!"

"You forgot to say the magic word."
"Do it, before you're fired!"

"Oh fine, GOSH!"

"Now we must wait for the fire of the sun to activate the sceptre and re-ignite the Blog!"

"We're thirty metres below ground. The sun can't down shine here."

"WHAT? NO! THIS CANNOT BE!"

"Really didn't think this one through, did you?"

"I was too busy trying on pith helmets."

Okay, I think we've taken this as far as it can go.
Oh alright.

*********************************************************************************

So, in case you didn't quite get the gist of my heavily laboured analogy, I'm re-starting the Drake Mandible Blog.

Originally, I planned to take a break from Drake Mandible after the 52nd instalment for the rest of the year and start a new series next year. However as I am now incorporating TADM into my BCA Project for Uni. So over the course of the next 8 weeks, I'll be writing and posting more segments, which will each be longer than the usual posts and will be regularly blogging my experiences along the way.

This is where you guys come in. I'd really like to know what you guys think about the series as it progresses. Not just general statements, by the way, I need specific feedback, what you liked, what works and what doesn't. I also welcome any questions you have about the writing the series or why I made certain choices or I'll ask questions and put up polls for you guys to interact with further.

I'll be posting each instalment on Friday afternoon and you then have the weekend to read and respond with any feedback you have, which I'll be collecting on Monday.

In related news, I'm planning to convert the series into an audio drama podcast, later on in the year, so keep an ear out for that!

Finally, I'd like to thank all my readers for your support and putting up with my nonsense, it's all greatly appreciated.

Stay Tuned, Ladies and Gents ;)

Nate.
